## Description

Genuine Parts Company is a distributor of automotive and industrial parts, operating through three segments: Automotive Parts Group, Industrial Parts Group, and the company. The Automotive Parts Group segment distributes replacement parts, except for body parts, for nearly all makes and models of automobiles, trucks and other vehicles. The Industrial Parts Group segment provides a range of industrial bearings, mechanical and fluid power transmission equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic products, material handling components and related parts and supplies. The company was founded by Carlyle Fraser on May 7, 1928 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
