FactSet's flexible, open data and technology solutions can be implemented throughout the investment portfolio lifecycle or implemented as independent components serving different workflows in an organization. FactSet focuses on developing business in the Americas, EMEA (formerly Europe), and Asia-Pacific regions. The Company provides insight and information through research, analysis, and trading; content and technology solutions ("CTS"); and wealth workflow solutions. FactSet currently serves financial professionals, including portfolio managers, investment research professionals, investment bankers, risk and performance analysts, wealth advisors, and corporate clients. FactSet offers both global market insights and intelligence on companies and industries, as well as the ability to monitor portfolio risk and performance and execute trades. The Company combines proprietary customer service with open and flexible technology products such as configurable desktop and mobile platforms, comprehensive data feeds, open markets and digital portals, and application programming interfaces ("APIs"). The company's revenue is mainly derived from subscriptions to products and services such as workstations, analytics, enterprise data, and research management. FactSet Research Systems was founded by Howard Wille and Charles Snyder in September 1978 and is headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut.
