# US Stock Options | Tesla trading volume falls, Apple rebounds! BABA-SWR, NIO continue to be heavily bought

Overnight, the tech stocks dragged down the Nasdaq, with Apple experiencing its worst decline in five months, and Chinese concept stocks plummeting.

### Overview of US Stock Options Trading

The top ten US stock options trading on that day were: Tesla, Apple, NVIDIA, AMD, Amazon, Marathon Digital, Microsoft, Pfizer, Alibaba, and Meta.

Among them:

Tesla slightly declined, with options trading falling to 1.67 million contracts, and bullish options accounting for 56.6%. Nearly 95,000 contracts of bullish options with a strike price of $250 and nearly 80,000 contracts of bullish options with strike prices of $255 and $260 were traded, all expiring on January 5th.

Apple fell nearly 4%, with options trading at 1.37 million contracts, and bullish options accounting for 56.5%. Over 90,000 contracts of bullish options with a strike price of $187.5 were traded.

NVIDIA fell nearly 3%, with options trading at 860,000 contracts, and bullish options accounting for 60%. Nearly 50,000 contracts of bullish options with a strike price of $500 were traded.

AMD fell 6%, with options trading at 610,000 contracts, and bullish options accounting for 60%.

Amazon and Marathon Digital had options trading of over 400,000 contracts, with bullish options dominating.

Alibaba fell over 3%, with options trading at 335,000 contracts, and bullish options accounting for 68.7%.

NIO fell over 7%, with options trading at 300,000 contracts, and bullish options accounting for 63%.

Cisco slightly declined, with options trading skyrocketing to around 300,000 contracts, and bullish options accounting for 90.5%. Over 110,000 contracts of bullish options with a strike price of $47.5 and expiring on January 19th were traded, making it the most popular contract of the day.
