# US Stock Options | QS, the "magic stock", sees a surge in trading volume! Tesla puts and Alibaba calls continue to be heavily speculated.

Overnight, only the Dow Jones Index closed higher, while tech stocks and Chinese concept stocks retreated.

### Overview of US Stock Options Trading

The top ten US stock options trading on the day: Tesla, Apple, NVIDIA, Amazon, Marathon Digital, AMD, Quantumscape, Alibaba, Microsoft, and Citigroup.

Among them:

Tesla slightly declined, with options trading falling to 1.76 million contracts, with a call option ratio of 55.5%. Put options with a strike price of $240 and call options with a strike price of $242.5, both expiring on January 5th, had a trading volume of over 110,000 contracts.

Apple fell more than 1%, with options trading slightly rebounding to 1.28 million contracts, with a call option ratio of 53.2%. Call options with strike prices of $185 and $182.5, both traded over 100,000 contracts.

NVIDIA rose nearly 1%, with options trading reaching nearly 840,000 contracts, with a call option ratio of 55.9%. Put options with a strike price of $480 and call options with a strike price of $485, both traded over 50,000 contracts.

Amazon fell nearly 3%, with options trading at 690,000 contracts, with a call option ratio of 58.7%.

Marathon Digital surged 12%, with options trading at 530,000 contracts, with a call option ratio of 65%.

AMD slightly rose, with options trading at nearly 400,000 contracts, with a call option ratio of 65.7%.

Quantumscape soared 43%, with options trading skyrocketing to 380,000 contracts, with a call option ratio of 73.7%.

Alibaba fell more than 2%, with options trading at 310,000 contracts, with a call option ratio of 62.2%.
