MarketAxess CEO, Chris Concannon, expressed excitement about Bieler's diverse financial services background and operational experience. Bieler has previously held positions at State Street Global Markets, Barclays plc, and Citigroup Inc. She will be based in New York and report to Concannon. The appointment comes at a time of high industry demand for technology in the fixed-income markets. MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:MKTX), the operator of a leading electronic trading platform for fixed-income securities, today announced the appointment of Ilene Fiszel Bieler as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Fiszel Bieler is currently expected to start with MarketAxess on or about May 22, 2024. Ms. Fiszel Bieler replaces Christopher Gerosa, who left the Company on January 31, 2024.
