# 理解市场 | 小鹏汽车为何也在大跌？

Zhitong App learned that XPENG-W (09868) dropped nearly 5%, as of the time of publication, it fell by 4.76% to HKD 37, with a turnover of HKD 5.97 billion.

On the news front, XPENG-W recently announced that by March 31, 2024, all models of XPENG-W G6 will be temporarily reduced by RMB 20,000, with a discounted price starting at RMB 189,900. Industry insiders believe that XPENG-W's price reduction this time may be related to the decline in deliveries in February. In February this year, XPeng delivered 4,545 new cars, a year-on-year decrease of 24.4% and a month-on-month decrease of 44.9%.

Guangda Securities pointed out that it is expected that the year-on-year growth rate of domestic new energy vehicle sales in 2024E will fall to over 25%. Given that the total demand still needs to be orderly restored, leading car companies like Tesla/BYD have relatively complete product matrices in the mainstream price range + intensified promotional efforts with limited-time discounts and clearance sales, it is expected that market competition will further intensify.
