Overnight, tech stocks dragged down the market, with NVIDIA hitting a new high in a thrilling manner, and NIO-SW experiencing a major turnaround during trading hours. ### Overview of US Stock Options Trading The top ten US stock options trading last Friday were: Tesla, Apple, NVIDIA, SoFi Tech, AMD, Marathon Digital, Microsoft, Intel, Google Class A, and NIO-SW. Specifically: Tesla fell by 4%, with options trading slightly decreasing to 2.24 million contracts, and call options accounting for 53%. Put options with a strike price of $180 and $175 expiring on March 8th traded nearly 120,000 and 110,000 contracts respectively, while call options with strike prices of $185 and $190 both traded over 80,000 contracts. Apple dropped by nearly 3%, with options trading slightly increasing to 1.72 million contracts, and call options accounting for 51%. Call options with strike prices of $172.5 and $175 traded over 70,000 contracts each. NVIDIA rose by nearly 1%, with options trading significantly dropping to 1.15 million contracts, and call options accounting for 61%. Call options with a strike price of $850 traded over 50,000 contracts. SoFi Tech plummeted by over 15%, with options trading surging to 780,000 contracts, with call and put options evenly split. Put options with a strike price of $6.5 expiring on March 22nd traded 80,000 contracts. AMD slightly fell, with options trading continuing to drop to 660,000 contracts, and put options accounting for 50.8%. Marathon Digital, Microsoft, and Intel saw a significant drop in stock prices, but options trading remained above 400,000 contracts, mainly dominated by call options. Google Class A slightly fell, with options trading dropping to nearly 380,000 contracts, and call options accounting for 57.5%. NIO-SW rose by nearly 3%, with options trading dropping to 370,000 contracts, and call options accounting for 62.7%.
