# 特朗普概念股 DJT 做空数据暴增！

Former U.S. President Donald Trump's social media company DWAC successfully "went public through a SPAC merger", transforming into TMTG (Trump Media & Technology Group). Just after its debut, the stock with the ticker symbol DJT has become the most expensive and challenging short-selling trade in the U.S. stock market!

During overnight trading, S3 Partners reported that short sellers targeting DWAC and DJT have incurred losses of $158 million in market value since the beginning of this year, with losses totaling $61 million at that time based on market value.

A closer look at the short-selling data for DJT after the market close reveals that despite soaring to a trading halt on its first day of trading and ultimately closing up 16%, its short interest has already reached 60%, with over 4 million shares being shorted, nearly four times the number of DWAC shares shorted the previous day!
