Overnight, tech stocks dragged down the three major US stock indexes collectively, with mixed performance among popular Chinese concept stocks. ### Overview of US Stock Options Trading Top ten US stock options trading overnight: Tesla, Nvidia, AMD, Apple, Amazon, United Airlines, Meta, ARM, TSMC, Boeing. Among them: Tesla fell over 1%, with options trading surging to 2.93 million contracts, where 62.5% were put options. Call options with a strike price of $160 expiring on April 19 traded nearly 170,000 contracts, while put options with strike prices of $155, $240, $220, and $150 traded 160,000 contracts, 158,000 contracts, 120,000 contracts, and 110,000 contracts respectively. Nvidia dropped by 4%, with options trading surging to 1.45 million contracts, where 57.5% were call options. Call options with a strike price of $900 traded nearly 80,000 contracts. AMD fell by 6%, with options trading almost doubling to 980,000 contracts, where 51.3% were call options. Call options with a strike price of $165 traded 60,000 contracts. Apple fell by 1%, with options trading decreasing to 970,000 contracts, where 51.8% were call options. Put options with a strike price of $180 traded 80,000 contracts. Amazon fell over 1%, with options trading increasing to 430,000 contracts, where 62.4% were call options. United Airlines surged by over 17%, with options trading skyrocketing to 400,000 contracts, where 54.4% were put options. Meta fell over 1%, with options trading increasing to 340,000 contracts, where 57.7% were call options. ARM plummeted by 12%, with options trading surging to 320,000 contracts, where 60% were put options. TSMC fell by 0.55%, with options trading surging to 300,000 contracts, where 65% were call options. Snap rose by nearly 5%, with options trading surging to 250,000 contracts, where 78.7% were call options. AMC Theatres surged by over 9%, with options trading remaining around 240,000 contracts, where 77% were call options.
