# DeepBlue is teaming up with Huawei to challenge Tesla

Huawei's car-making team is expanding rapidly with an unstoppable momentum.

On April 25th, Deep Blue Automobile announced at the Beijing Auto Show that it will collaborate with Huawei to create smarter electric vehicles than Tesla. This declaration signifies Deep Blue Automobile's ambition in the field of smart electric travel. The day before, Deep Blue Automobile CEO Deng Chenghao also appeared at a Huawei press conference. This indicates that in addition to Aito, Changan Automobile and Huawei's cooperation is deepening.

Deng Chenghao confidently stated that Deep Blue + Huawei will definitely surpass Tesla.

Wall Street News learned that the cooperation between the two parties will focus on the research and development, production, sales, and service of intelligent driving systems and incremental components for smart connected vehicles.

The official launch of the collaborative model is still pending. Prior to this, Deep Blue Automobile has become a "rising star" in the new energy market in just two years, relying on its own super range extension technology.

At the 2024 Beijing International Auto Show, Deep Blue Automobile unveiled the 2nd anniversary Black Gold Knight Edition of Deep Blue SL03 and Deep Blue S7, showcasing the "Tech New Hardcore" SUV - Deep Blue G318 to the public for the first time, and announced that pre-orders will start at the end of May with deliveries in June.

The G318 is equipped with Deep Blue's super range extension 2.0 technology, achieving low fuel consumption and long range. The pure electric range reaches 190km (CLTC), with a comprehensive range exceeding 1000km. The dual-motor four-wheel drive system provides strong power output, with a maximum power of 316kW, peak torque of 6200N·m at the wheel end, and 0-100km/h acceleration in just 6.3 seconds.

The price of the Deep Blue SL03 2nd anniversary Black Gold Knight Edition ranges from 166,900 to 173,900 RMB, while the price of the Deep Blue S7 2nd anniversary Black Gold Knight Edition ranges from 179,900 to 199,900 RMB.

China's new energy vehicle market has become one of the largest markets globally, leading to more intense competition, which requires Deep Blue to continuously pursue innovation and change.

Regarding charging capabilities, Deep Blue Automobile has taken further steps. It announced at the auto show the news of achieving interconnection of charging networks with Nio Power. Starting from May, Deep Blue users can charge at over 20,000 Nio charging piles nationwide, further expanding Deep Blue Automobile's charging network coverage.

According to sales data for the first quarter of 2024, Deep Blue Automobile sold 13,048 vehicles in March, with a cumulative sales volume of 40,084 vehicles from January to March. Deep Blue Automobile has set a global sales target of 450,000 vehicles for 2024, including 420,000 vehicles in the domestic market and 30,000 vehicles in overseas markets.
