# Singtel-owned Optus taps TPG Telecom for local network sharing agreement

> April 29 (Reuters) - Singapore Telecommunications’ (STEL.SI) Australian unit Optus has struck a deal with local rival TPG Telecom (TPG.AX) to provide access to its local radio network in regional Australia, the telecom operators said in a joint statement on Monday.As a part of the regional Multi-Operator Core Network agreement, the TPG will have access to 2,444 Optus mobile network sites in regional Australia.

April 29 (Reuters) - Singapore Telecommunications’ (STEL.SI) Australian unit Optus has struck a deal with local rival TPG Telecom (TPG.AX) to provide access to its local radio network in regional Australia, the telecom operators said in a joint statement on Monday.

As a part of the regional Multi-Operator Core Network agreement, the TPG will have access to 2,444 Optus mobile network sites in regional Australia.
