Last week, the US stock market experienced a volatile tech earnings week, while the Hong Kong stock market saw almost continuous gains.
In the Hong Kong stock market, leading technology companies surged across the board during the week. Kuaishou led the way with a 27% increase, Meituan and JD.com rose by 21%, Tencent by 15%, Alibaba by 13%, Xiaomi and Baidu by over 9%, and NetEase by 4.5%.
As for the seven giants in the US stock market, only Meta fell by 8% during the week. NVIDIA surged by 15%, Tesla by over 14%, Google by over 11%, Amazon and Apple by over 2%, and Microsoft by nearly 2%.
