# Market Insight | Apple concept stocks collectively decline, rumors of Apple raising automation production targets, EU's "Digital Markets Act" officially takes effect

According to the Smart Finance APP, Apple concept stocks collectively fell. As of the time of publication, FIH (02038) fell by 4.39% to HKD 0.87; BYD ELECTRONIC (00285) fell by 4.29% to HKD 36.8; SUNNY OPTICAL (02382) fell by 3.65% to HKD 47.45; Q TECH (01478) fell by 3.37% to HKD 4.02.

On the news front, according to the Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily, Apple has reportedly demanded that its assembly factories reduce manpower on iPhone assembly lines by 50% in the coming years as part of its automation production target. In addition, the European Commission preliminarily ruled on the 24th local time that the rules of the U.S. Apple online app store violate the EU's "Digital Market Act" and has launched a new investigation against Apple for non-compliance.

Previously, CICC stated that Apple Intelligence supports the upgrade of the iPhone 15 Pro series and above models, which is expected to significantly increase user demand for upgrades, driving up Apple's sales volume. The AI user experience is expected to further drive user upgrades, benefiting the domestic Apple supply chain. CMB Securities pointed out that they are optimistic about Apple's AI era driving industry chain innovation at the end, ushering in a new round of development opportunities.
