# HAICHANG HLDG: Golden Bridge • Haichang Penguin Resort Hotel officially opened

> HAICHANG HLDG announced that the JinQiao • Haichang Penguin Resort Hotel has officially opened. The hotel, invested and built by JinQiao Group, has a total construction area of approximately 35,000 square meters and features 372 parent-child rooms. It boasts the country's first immersive 360° hotel panoramic penguin exhibition pool, aiming to promote awareness of protecting the polar regions and oceans. Located in the Lingang New Area of Pudong, Shanghai, the hotel is just a 10-minute drive from the Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park. The opening of the Penguin Hotel marks a solid and milestone step for the group in the operation of light-asset hotels. In the future, the group will continue to expand into new cities and regions with the light-asset model, developing cultural tourism projects

According to the news from Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, Haichang Ocean Park (02255) announced that the Group's Golden Bridge • Haichang Penguin Resort Hotel ("Penguin Hotel") will officially open on July 1, 2024.

The Penguin Hotel is a custom hotel invested and constructed by Shanghai Golden Bridge Lingang Integrated Zone Investment Development Co., Ltd. (Golden Bridge Group). After completion of construction, the Group will lease and operate the Penguin Hotel for a period of 20 years.

With a building area of approximately 35,000 square meters, the Penguin Hotel has 372 parent-child themed rooms and has won the "GBE Hotel Design Award 2023" for Best Themed Hotel. The Penguin Hotel features the "first immersive 360° hotel panoramic penguin exhibition pool in the country," promoting awareness of protecting the polar regions and oceans through immersive penguin science education and parent-child vacation experiences. Located at the intersection of Peifeng Road and Tengbo Road in Lingang New Area, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, the Penguin Hotel is only a 10-minute drive from Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park ("Shanghai Park"). The Penguin Hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus to Shanghai Park, allowing guests to enjoy the privilege of unlimited park entry for 2 days.

As of now, the Group has nearly 800 parent-child themed rooms in the Shanghai Lingang Oriental Ocean Resort Area centered around Shanghai Park, including the Penguin Hotel, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park Resort Hotel, and Shanghai Haichang Ultraman Theme Hotel, forming a group of parent-child themed resort hotels with distinctive styles. In the future, two themed hotels will be completed in the second phase of Shanghai Park, further supplementing parent-child themed resort hotels in the area to continue attracting tourists, enhancing the appeal of Shanghai Park, and boosting regional economic growth.

The Board believes that the opening of the Penguin Hotel is the first landing in the hotel business field since the Group implemented its light asset strategy, marking a solid and milestone step for the Group in the operation of light asset hotels. In the future, the Group will firmly expand into new cities and regions with a light asset model and develop cultural tourism projects
