Peggy I. Simmons has been appointed as the new Executive Vice President – Regulatory and Chief Administrative Officer of American Electric Power Company Inc., effective from September 1, 2024. Prior to this role, she served as the Executive Vice President – Utilities, a position from which she resigned on August 31, 2024. American Electric Power publicly announced Simmons’ new appointment in a press release.
