# Pre-market news flash on US stocks

① The three major stock index futures all fell, while the US Dollar Index rose for the fifth consecutive day. ② As of the time of publication, the Dow Jones futures fell by 0.48%, the S&P 500 futures fell by 0.46%, and the Nasdaq futures fell by 0.60%. ③ The Germany DAX index fell by 0.27%, the UK FTSE 100 index fell by 0.46%, the France CAC 40 index fell by 0.21%, and the Euro Stoxx 50 index fell by 0.40%. ④ WTI crude oil fell by 1.54% to $72.42 per barrel. Brent crude oil fell by 2.24% to $75.78 per barrel. ⑤ Former US Treasury Secretary: The Federal Reserve may not ultimately cut interest rates significantly. ⑥ Goldman Sachs remains strongly bullish on gold: it will soon rise to $2700. ⑦ Tesla's US stocks rose by over 1% in pre-market trading. In August, its sales in China achieved the best performance of the year, with a month-on-month growth of 37%. ⑧ Most tech stocks declined, with Nvidia and TSMC both falling by over 2%, Apple falling by 0.37%, and Microsoft falling by 0.45%. ⑨ Southwest Airlines rose by over 2% in pre-market trading, with activist shareholder Elliott surpassing a key ownership threshold
