# HUYA announces changes in management

HUYA announced today that its board of directors has appointed Mr. Lei Peng as the company's acting Co-CEO and CFO, effective September 5, 2024. Mr. Lei Peng will succeed Ms. Wu Xin as acting Co-CEO and will share the responsibilities of the CEO with the company's board of directors, acting Co-CEO, and Senior Vice President Mr. Huang Junhong. Following Mr. Lei's appointment, Ms. Wu Xin will continue to serve as the company's Deputy CFO.

Mr. Lin Songtao, Chairman of HUYA, stated: "On behalf of the HUYA board of directors, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Lei Peng to the HUYA management team. His extensive management and financial experience will support and drive HUYA's strategic transformation and business development. We also want to express our gratitude to Ms. Wu Xin for her contributions as acting Co-CEO over the past year."

Prior to joining HUYA, Mr. Lei Peng served as the Finance Director of FiT (Payment Basic Platform and Financial Application Line) at Tencent Holdings. He first joined Tencent in 2004 and worked in various financial fields at Tencent for over 18 years. Previously, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and consulting for over 10 years. Mr. Lei Peng is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Shenzhen University in 1994
