# Apple has reportedly approved the WeChat update for the iOS ecosystem submitted by Tencent this week

Sources revealed that Apple has approved the WeChat update submitted by Tencent this week targeting the iOS ecosystem. It is reported that the latest version includes new features in WeChat Moments and live streaming. Apple has approved Tencent Holdings' WeChat application update in the upcoming iPhone 16, negotiating for more time to make adjustments as requested by Apple. Previously, Apple announced that the iPhone 16 series will be released at 1 am on September 10th. However, just a week before the event, there were reports that "iPhone 16 may not support the use of WeChat"
