# US Stock Market News | Uber surges over 5% on expanding cooperation with Waymo, the autonomous driving car division under Alphabet

According to the financial news app Zhitong Finance, on Friday, Uber (UBER.US) saw its stock price rise, with the stock up over 5% to $71.845 at the time of writing. In terms of news, the company is expanding its collaboration with Alphabet's (GOOGL.US, GOOG.US) autonomous driving car division Waymo, and will launch autonomous ride-hailing services in Austin and Atlanta next year
