# Analyst: Suggest buying Tesla stock before the "significant" positive news arrives

Tesla's stock price surged in September, with analyst Ben Kallo from Baird predicting that the electric car giant's stock will further rise after announcing vehicle delivery data next week. He expects that about a week after Tesla announces vehicle delivery data, Tesla's "autonomous taxi release day" will be a bigger potential positive factor for the stock. "We believe the recent developments are positive, we are optimistic about Tesla's delivery data, as well as Tesla's autonomous taxi release event," Kallo wrote in a research report to clients. He reiterated an "outperform" rating on Tesla stock and a target price of $280
