# Huawei and Apple both made a strong impact in October, hitting my wallet first

After the holiday, **we are likely to witness two big events in the tech industry**, as Huawei and Apple are about to launch new products.

According to @Uncle Kanshan's post, Huawei will hold another product launch event in October; and according to Guerman, Apple plans to hold another event in October as well.

In other words, after the showdown between the two giants on the same day in September, **they will compete head-to-head again in October**.

So, what tricks do Huawei and Apple have up their sleeves this month? Let's take a look -

**01.**

**Huawei nova 13 Series**

Speaking of Huawei's first move, it is likely to be the nova 13 series, which is indeed about to make an appearance.

As early as May this year, there were rumors that Huawei would release the nova 13 in June, but it kept getting delayed without any confirmation.

Until recently, with multiple sources such as Weibo bloggers **confirming this October**, it can be considered basically confirmed.

So far, there is very little information about the nova 13 series, even less than the Mate 70.

The only substantial information is that a Weibo blogger revealed in June that **the nova 13 series will be equipped with the Kirin 5G chip** as standard, and the Ultra model will continue to explore the high-end market.

In addition, following nova's tradition, there will definitely be a color option called "Color 13".

**Huawei MatePad 2024**

In addition to the nova 13 series, Huawei may also introduce the MatePad 2024 tablet.

IT Home has reported that on September 20th, Huawei had two new tablet products certified by 3C, with model numbers BTKR-W00 and BJS5-W00, and included the HW-100400C04 charger, **supporting 40W fast charging**.

Considering that the MatePad 11.5"S and MatePad SE currently sold on the Huawei official website come with a 22.5W charger, and most other tablets support 66W and 100W fast charging, this model supporting 40W fast charging is expected to be an entry-level model.

Similar to the situation with nova 13, the release of Sound X4 has been repeatedly delayed, from the initial July to the current October, and whether it will be released or not remains unknown.

Regarding the configuration of Sound X4, @Uncle Watching the Mountains revealed that it comes in 2 color options, similar to the Sound X 2021, with the addition of Joyful White and the retention of Rhythm Black. **The speaker does not have Devialet, but it has Huawei Yuezhang.**

He also answered questions from netizens in the comments section: regarding upgrades and iterations in terms of configuration, he replied "Without Devialet, production is open"; as for the price, he replied "probably the same," expecting it to be similar to the starting price of the previous generation.

**Apple iPad mini 7**

After looking at Huawei's new products, it's time to take a look at Apple, even though the annual blockbuster iPhone 16 series has already been unveiled, **there are still many outstanding players waiting to be released in the iPad and Mac product lines**.

Among them is the much-anticipated iPad mini 7 by many IT enthusiasts.

According to Guermin, Apple is expected to launch the seventh-generation iPad mini in the next event, with upgrades in chips, imaging, screen, network, and other aspects.

Specifically, the iPad mini 7 is likely to be equipped with the A17 Pro or A18 series chip to support Apple Intelligence The focus is on improving the screen, **avoiding the recurrence of the "jelly screen" issue**; both front and rear cameras will be upgraded, in addition to supporting Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

**Apple iPad 11**

In addition to the iPad mini 7, Guerlain also revealed that Apple will launch a "new, entry-level iPad", which undoubtedly refers to the iPad 11.
