# Hong Kong and A-shares plunged, with the Shanghai Composite Index falling more than 4.5% at one point, and Hong Kong stocks also turned downward

Hong Kong stocks plunged rapidly, with the Hang Seng TECH Index reversing its gains from earlier by over 4.5%. The Hang Seng Index once fell by 1%, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dropped by 1.4%.

A-shares also experienced a sharp decline, with the Shanghai Composite Index falling by over 4.5% at the opening, almost wiping out all gains from the previous day. Currently, it is down by nearly 4%, the Shenzhen Component Index plummeted by 5%, and the ChiNext Index dropped by 6%
