# Tencent Holdings Limited spent HKD 703 million on October 9th to repurchase 1.6 million shares

According to the news from Zhitong Finance APP, Tencent Holdings (00700) announced on October 9, 2024, that it spent HKD 703 million to repurchase 1.6 million shares at a repurchase price of HKD 424-450.4 per share.

On the same day, 162,100 shares were issued by exercising stock options adopted on May 17, 2023
