# U.S. Stock Market Update | Most chip stocks decline, Super Micro Computer rises over 5.6%

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on Wednesday, most chip stocks fell. As of the time of publication, Super Micro Computer (SMCI.US) rose by over 5.6%, NVIDIA (NVDA.US) slightly increased by 0.4%; Micron Technology (MU.US) fell by over 1.5%, AMD (AMD.US) dropped by 0.9%, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSM.US) declined by 0.6%. On the news front, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that the future of artificial intelligence will be services that can "reason", but to reach this stage, the cost of computing needs to be reduced. Huang also added that NVIDIA will increase chip performance by two to three times each year with the same energy and cost, laying the foundation for these advancements
