# HarmonyOS version of WeChat goes live instantly, Tencent's Zhang Jun "seeks understanding"】On October 12th, the native version of WeChat for HarmonyOS was launched on the Huawei AppGallery, with version number 1.0.0.36. Users can access it through Huawei AppGallery -> [My] -> [Try out apps]

Tencent's Public Relations Director, Zhang Jun, stated that due to limited testing slots, the first batch was quickly taken down after being put up for download. He urged users to understand the situation and promised to continue to address issues before re-launching

Download experience in China. On the evening of the 12th, Zhang Jun, the PR director of Tencent, announced that the WeChat Hongmeng native version is currently undergoing testing through the "Early Access Zone" of the Huawei App Market, and is currently being gradually released in batches.
