# On Apple's new MacBook Air is expected to be launched in early next year, equipped with the M4 AI chip

According to sources familiar with the matter, the new Apple MacBook Air equipped with Apple's artificial intelligence M4 chip (AAPL.US) is set to be launched in early 2025.

The sources mentioned that Apple and its manufacturing partners will soon begin production of new models of laptops in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. The appearance will be similar to the current MacBook Air, with the M4 chip being a significant upgrade.

The report also added that Apple is developing a new low-cost iPad, which may be released early next year.
