# GOME RETAIL: Zhongrui Hexin appointed as the new auditor

According to the news from Zhitong Finance and Economics APP, GOME RETAIL (00493) announced that after considering factors such as its available internal resources, KPMG Huazhen LLP (KPMG) resigned as the company's auditor on October 28, 2024. The company also noted that, in accordance with the regulatory decision of the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China, KPMG is no longer able to provide audit services to mainland Chinese companies listed outside mainland China within 5 years, and has made relevant inquiries to KPMG. Considering the above reasons and circumstances, the board of directors accepted KPMG's resignation.

The announcement stated that RSM Huaxin Certified Public Accountants LLP (RSM Huaxin) has been appointed as the company's new auditor since October 28, 2024, to fill the temporary vacancy left by KPMG's resignation, with a term until the end of the company's next annual general meeting of shareholders
