# Lu Weibing: Xiaomi Star Universe without network support for 3.5km offline two-way calling

> At the Xiaomi 15 series and Xiaomi Surge OS 2 new product launch event, Xiaomi Group partner and president Lu Weibing introduced the innovative features of the Xiaomi 15 Pro. The phone debuted the Xiaomi Surge T1S signal enhancement chip, equipped with the Xiaomi Star Communication System, supporting offline two-way calls within a radius of 3.5km, with signal penetration through walls up to 7 floors

At the launch event of the Xiaomi 15 series and Xiaomi Surge OS 2, Lu Weibing, partner and president of Xiaomi Corporation, introduced that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will debut the Xiaomi Surge T1S signal enhancement chip, equipped with the Xiaomi Star Communication System. The Xiaomi Star Communication System supports offline two-way calling within a radius of 3.5km, with the ability to penetrate walls up to 7 floors
