# Global oil demand seen at 80-100 million bpd by 2035 in net zero environment, says BP's chief economist

> HOUSTON, Nov 13 (Reuters) - World oil demand will amount to around 80-100 million barrels per day by 2035 in a net zero environment, chief U.S. economist at BP, Michael Cohen told attendees at an energy conference hosted by the Federal Reserve Banks of Dallas and Kansas City in Dallas, Texas.Non-OPEC supply growth will exceed demand growth over the next several years, Cohen added.

HOUSTON, Nov 13 (Reuters) - World oil demand will amount to around 80-100 million barrels per day by 2035 in a net zero environment, chief U.S. economist at BP, Michael Cohen told attendees at an energy conference hosted by the Federal Reserve Banks of Dallas and Kansas City in Dallas, Texas.

Non-OPEC supply growth will exceed demand growth over the next several years, Cohen added.
