# Major Asia-Pacific stock indices closed mostly lower, with the Nikkei 225 index down 0.85%

> Major Asia-Pacific stock indices mostly fell on November 21. The Nikkei 225 index dropped 0.85%, closing at 38,026.17 points, with heavyweight stocks such as Fast Retailing, Sony, and Hitachi falling 2.4%, 2.2%, and 1.73% respectively. The Korea Composite Stock Price Index edged down 0.07%, closing at 2,480.63 points, with Hanwha Aerospace and Korea Zinc declining 6.18% and 5.06% respectively. The Australian S&P 200 index fell 0.04%, while the New Zealand S&P 50 index rose 0.22%

On November 21, major Asia-Pacific stock indices mostly closed lower, with the Nikkei 225 index closing down 0.85% at 38,026.17 points. In terms of heavyweight stocks, Fast Retailing fell 2.4%, Sony dropped 2.2%, and Hitachi decreased by 1.73%. The South Korean Composite Index closed down 0.07% at 2,480.63 points. Among heavyweight stocks, Hanwha Aerospace fell 6.18%, Korea Zinc dropped 5.06%, POSCO rose 3.05%, and Samsung Electronics increased by 1.99%. The Australian S&P 200 index closed down 0.04% at 8,323 points. The New Zealand S&P 50 index closed up 0.22% at 12,765.24 points
