# Mitsubishi UFJ Financial is considering acquiring the smart investment advisory company WealthNavi

> Mitsubishi UFJ Financial responded to Nikkei News, stating that it is considering making the smart investment advisor WealthNavi a wholly-owned subsidiary. Earlier on Friday, it was reported that the company plans to launch a tender offer for the shares it does not currently hold. Mitsubishi UFJ stated that no decision has been made yet and that the matter will be discussed at the management meeting on Friday, with any necessary disclosures to be announced immediately. Additionally, WealthNavi also announced that it will discuss this matter at its board meeting on Friday
