# Tesla's new cars in the United States have a malfunction in the autonomous driving computer

According to Electrek, a large number of new Tesla vehicles are experiencing faults with the autonomous driving computer, leading to the failure of multiple functions including active safety features, cameras, GPS navigation, and range estimation, putting immense pressure on Tesla's after-sales service. Electrek has confirmed through internal sources and obtained documents that the issue is related to Tesla's latest version of the HW4 onboard autonomous driving computer. According to insiders, the new version is internally codenamed AI4.1, and these computers have experienced short-circuiting.
