Individual Stock News

1.  CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK): In November, the number of passengers reached 2.0106 million, an increase of 23.1% year-on-year. The revenue passenger kilometers increased by 25.8% year-on-year. The passenger load factor rose by 3 percentage points to 83.5%.
    
2.  Guotai Junan (02611.HK): The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has approved the company to become the major shareholder of the overseas subsidiary related to Haitong Securities (06837.HK) after this merger.
    
3.  CONANT OPTICAL (02276.HK): Plans to issue 53.325 million placement shares to Hong Kong Goertek at a discount of approximately 19.98%, raising a net of HKD 828 million.
