# Xi'an Jiaotong University Party Secretary Lu Jianjun: Continuously promote the integrated linkage between the university, local government, and enterprises, and deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research

On December 22, at the 8th World Zhejiang Business Forum and the 2024 Shanghai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting, Lu Jianjun, Party Secretary of Xi'an Jiaotong University, stated that since the beginning of this year, Xi'an Jiaotong University plans to establish the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute in Shanghai and has signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Taizhou, Zhejiang, which will further promote the integrated linkage of universities, local governments, and enterprises, as well as the deep integration of industry, academia, and research. In the future, Xi'an Jiaotong University will actively participate in the construction of the "Five Major Centers" in Shanghai and will soon sign a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang, truly realizing the original intention of Xi'an Jiaotong University's westward migration
