The new industry standards for the comprehensive utilization of waste power batteries in new energy vehicles have been released

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry recently released the "Industry Norms for the Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Power Batteries from New Energy Vehicles," further strengthening the management of the comprehensive utilization industry for waste power batteries from new energy vehicles and guiding the healthy development of the industry. The normative conditions optimize the technical indicator system, guiding enterprises to strengthen technological innovation and improve process levels. At the same time, it supplements the disassembly and coding standards for waste power batteries from new energy vehicles, standardizes the comprehensive utilization management of new energy vehicles throughout the entire process, and adds requirements related to lithium-ion batteries for electric bicycles, strengthening product quality management and site selection requirements for enterprises. In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will select and cultivate a batch of benchmark enterprises with high levels and significant industry driving effects, while strengthening dynamic supervision, improving the recycling and utilization system for power batteries, and assisting in the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry
