The United States is striving to gradually replace Russia's natural gas exports to Europe.
According to reports, the eighth liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in the U.S. began exporting this week, with the first LNG tanker already on its way to Europe.
Analysts say this move further solidifies the U.S. position as the world's leading liquefied natural gas exporter, and currently, Trump is actively promoting increased purchases of U.S. energy products by Europe.
Venture Global, one of the largest liquefied natural gas developers in the U.S., has shipped its first batch of liquefied natural gas from its Plaquemines export facility in Louisiana, using the company's own transport vessel &#34;Venture Bayou.&#34;

According to Bloomberg's vessel tracking data, this newly built transport ship is delivering cargo to the German utility company EnBW, with the cargo expected to arrive in early January.

Venture Global stated in a press release that the Plaquemines export facility is currently undergoing construction and commissioning of 36 liquefied natural gas production units and related facilities, during which the Plaquemines export facility will continue to produce and export liquefied natural gas.
Currently, the Plaquemines facility has several long-term customers, including the European utility company Électricité de France, Polish energy company Orlen SA, and Shell.
According to Venture Global's project timeline, the Plaquemines liquefied natural gas facility is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2025 or early 2026, and is anticipated to become one of the largest liquefied natural gas export plants in the world. Additionally, Venture Global has applied for an IPO, with JP Morgan analysts estimating the company's valuation at around $100 billion.
Venture Global's CEO Mike Sabel stated in a press release:

Analysts say this development is significant, as U.S. liquefied natural gas is proposed as an alternative to Russian gas pipelines for Brussels.

In this regard, Goldman Sachs analysts stated that U.S. liquefied natural gas can &#34;theoretically&#34; replace Russian pipeline gas entering the EU market.
