At the end of the year, the three major shipbuilding enterprises under China Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. in Shanghai—Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd., Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.—show no signs of slowing down in their production and operational activities such as order taking, ship delivery, launching, and sea trials, still presenting a scene of bustling activity. According to statistics, in 2024, the three major shipbuilding enterprises in Shanghai delivered a total of 69 ships and received new orders for 128 ships, representing year-on-year growth of 19% and 70%, respectively, with the proportion of medium and high-end ship types exceeding 98%, achieving the dual growth targets of efficiency and benefits, and jointly exceeding the annual production and operational tasks ahead of schedule
