# VCANBIO's subsidiary VUM03 injection clinical trial application has received an acceptance notice

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, VCANBIO (600645.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Wuhan Guanggu VCANBIO Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received the "Acceptance Notice" for the clinical trial application of VUM03 injection from the National Medical Products Administration's Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) on December 31, 2024, with acceptance number CXSL2400934.

VUM03 injection (human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal/stromal cell injection) is a cryopreserved cell preparation independently developed by our company, made from selected healthy newborn umbilical cord tissue through in vitro separation, expansion, harvesting, and cryopreservation to prepare human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal/stromal cells (UC-MSC) new drug. This product is developed as a general-purpose, ready-to-use cell preparation to meet clinical local usage needs, and is intended for the treatment of non-active/mildly active Crohn's disease complex anal fistula
