# The final verdict on the stock price manipulation case involving former "private equity king" Xu Xiang and others has been announced, with WFDSJ being ordered to bear joint compensation liability, stating plans to apply for a retrial or appeal

Recently, WFDSJ disclosed that the second-instance judgment in the case of four individual investors suing Xu Xiang, Xu Changjiang, and WFDSJ for securities market manipulation responsibility has been announced. The judgment result is as follows: Xu Xiang and Xu Changjiang are ordered to compensate the four investors a total loss of 1.1026 million yuan; WFDSJ bears joint compensation liability for the aforementioned compensation obligations of Xu Xiang and Xu Changjiang.

The reporter noted that WFDSJ was found to have assisted in the manipulation behavior and was sentenced to bear joint compensation liability. Regarding the second-instance judgment result, WFDSJ stated that the company is planning to apply for retrial or appeal with a professional legal team regarding this case. (Everyday Economy)
