# LBC plans to invest 330 million yuan to construct a project with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of sulfuric acid and waste heat power generation

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, LBC (600727.SH) announced that in order to alleviate transportation cost pressure, reduce the public danger caused by transporting sulfuric acid, and improve the LBC circular economy industrial chain, it plans to construct a 600,000 tons/year sulfuric acid production and waste heat power generation facility. The total investment for this project is 330 million yuan, with a construction period of 2 years.

Once the project is completed, it will help alleviate the tight supply of sulfuric acid within the LBC industrial park, meet the company's demand for fertilizer and titanium dioxide production, and support the sulfuric acid transportation pipeline network, which will help reduce the production costs of downstream products, alleviate the transportation cost pressure on enterprises within the park, and reduce the public danger caused by transporting sulfuric acid. In addition, the project will produce a large amount of steam as a byproduct, which can be supplied to production facilities for alumina, titanium dioxide, and others within the park, thereby improving the LBC circular economy industrial chain
