This year, the AFF Deal-making Global Investment Project Matching, co-hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, gathered over 270 investors and more than 560 investment projects, conducting over 700 one-on-one meetings covering a wide range of fields including fintech, health tech, deep tech, consumer goods, infrastructure, real estate, and environmental, energy, and environmental protection technologies, providing a matching platform for funds and global projects"

According to Zhitong Finance APP, on January 14th, the 18th Asian Financial Forum (AFF), co-hosted by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, concluded today. This forum attracted over 3,600 global financial and business leaders from more than 50 countries and regions. The conference conducted real-time voting during various discussion sessions to understand participants' views on global economic outlooks, opportunities in China, and other topics.

Surveys conducted at the forum indicated that the majority of participants believe that generative artificial intelligence (41.6%) and non-AI-based innovative technologies, including digital infrastructure and healthcare (23%), are the most important growth engines in the Asia-Pacific region.
