In terms of news, UNITY GP HLDGS announced that on January 15, its wholly-owned subsidiary, HuiNeng Global, intends to acquire 25.00% of the issued share capital of Synergy Cooling Management Limited from Xinneng Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. for HKD 200 million. As of the announcement date, the company indirectly owns approximately 63.04% of the issued share capital of the target company through HuiNeng Global. Upon completion of the acquisition, the company will indirectly own approximately 88.04% of the issued share capital of the target company through HuiNeng Global. The target company is the holding company for the group's operations in Malaysia, which is one of the key regions for the group's expansion.

The group is considering a potential secondary listing on the Malaysia Stock Exchange. The board believes that the acquisition aligns with the group's overall business development strategy and is confident that this move will benefit the potential listing and the overall management of the target group's business. Furthermore, after the completion of the acquisition, the company's equity in the target company will increase from approximately 63.04% to 88.04%.
