# Closing Review: The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.18% on lower volume, with the semiconductor sector performing strongly in the afternoon

The index fluctuated and strengthened in the afternoon, with all three major stock indices closing in the green. In terms of sectors, the semiconductor sector was strong in the afternoon, with SG Micro and SQM both hitting the 20% daily limit up; the phosphorus chemical concept strengthened, with Chuanfa Longmang and Xinong Co., Ltd. hitting the daily limit up; the AI mobile phone concept was active, with Nanjing Xin Technology and Shenghong Technology leading in gains; the Xiaohongshu concept stocks corrected, with Jinheshangguan and Yili Media hitting the daily limit down; the retail sector collectively weakened, with Yimin Group and Baida Group leading in declines; the trade-in concept collectively adjusted, with the automotive dismantling direction leading the decline, and Shanzi Gaoke leading in losses. Overall, more stocks rose than fell, with over 2,600 stocks increasing. On the market, the components, semiconductor, and PCB concept sectors had the largest gains, while the Xiaohongshu concept, Kuaishou concept, and short drama game sectors had the largest declines
