On January 17th, in response to recent complaints from some users regarding the state-owned enterprise Sichuan Guang'an Aizhong Co., Ltd. about issues related to metering instruments, billing, and service attitude, the official WeChat account of Guang'an District, Guang'an City reported that an investigation found multiple problems within the company, including abnormal data display on some app user interfaces, chaotic billing cycles, and irregular meter reading practices. The report stated that no issues were found with the metering of water, electricity, and gas meters, and no problems were discovered regarding remote manipulation of these meters during the investigation. In response to the identified issues, the joint investigation team has ordered the company to fully refund the overcharged fees that have been confirmed. The Guang'an District Market Supervision Bureau has initiated an investigation into the clues of suspected illegal activities discovered during the investigation. According to the authority of cadre management, Yu Zhengjun has been removed from his position as the Party Secretary of Guang'an Aizhong Co., Ltd. and has been nominated for removal from his position as Chairman. Previously, the "Wen Zheng Sichuan" platform had multiple complaints regarding the chaotic charging of water, electricity, and gas fees by Guang'an Aizhong. Among them, some citizens complained that they were deducted one to two hundred yuan in water, electricity, and gas fees in a single day.
