The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Outline for the Construction of a Strong Education Nation (2024-2035)." It proposes to shape a new form of diversified schooling and integration of industry and education. It aims to deepen the pilot programs for new models of modern vocational education systems at the provincial level and implement the primary responsibility of local governments in coordinating the development of vocational education. It seeks to strengthen the industry-education joint bodies at the municipal level and the industry-education integration communities, optimizing the vocational education layout to align with regional development and industrial layout. It promotes the decentralization of higher vocational education resources to cities and counties in areas with conditions. It encourages enterprises to host or participate in vocational education and promotes deep cooperation between schools and enterprises in aspects such as education, talent cultivation, and employment. It aims to improve the mechanism of cultivating talents that combine moral education and technical skills, and to train more skilled craftsmen at the forefront of industries
