# Renmin University professor: Gold is the "usurped king," the "escape door" of the new world

Recently, at the Tsinghua University China and World Economy Forum, Zhai Dongsheng, the director of the Regional and Country Studies Institute of Renmin University of China, stated that gold is the "usurped king."

Once the dollar credit system bubble bursts, gold will be the "escape door" of the new world. Now, digital currencies are also beginning to play a similar role.
