# A-shares closing: The ChiNext Index opened high and rose 1.81%, with the copper high-speed connection concept strong throughout the day

The performance of major indices today showed divergence. The Shanghai Composite Index opened high but fluctuated and fell back, briefly turning negative towards the end of trading, while the ChiNext Index performed relatively strong. The copper high-speed connection concept was strong throughout the day, with WOER, Huamai Technology, and AXNMC hitting the daily limit. Consumer stocks such as clothing and retail rose, with Aimer, True Love Home, Dongbai Group, and Hualian Co., Ltd. also hitting the daily limit. On the downside, stocks with annual report losses plummeted, with Dongjing Electronics, Hainan Yedao, and Fanli Technology hitting the daily limit down. More stocks rose than fell, with today's trading volume around 1.2 trillion. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.08%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.94%, and the ChiNext Index rose 1.81%
