# Shanxi's coalbed methane production in 2024 reaches a historic high

According to the Shanxi Provincial Bureau of Statistics on January 21, 2024, the total output of coalbed methane in Shanxi Province is 13.43 billion cubic meters, setting a new historical high, accounting for approximately 80.6% of the national coalbed methane output during the same period
