# DELISI issues a profit warning, expecting a net loss of 28 million to 32 million yuan for the fiscal year 2024

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, DELISI (002330.SZ) released its performance forecast for 2024, expecting a net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 28 million to 32 million yuan for the year. During the reporting period, the company continuously improved its supply chain management level and increased capacity utilization. Based on fluctuations in raw material prices, the company moderately stocked raw meat. The gross profit margin of the company's frozen meat products remained basically the same as the same period last year, indicating good profitability. At the same time, the company fully leveraged its supply chain advantages, and the beef trading business gradually recovered, with an increase in gross profit margin.

During the reporting period, due to weaker-than-expected consumer market demand and relatively sluggish terminal consumption, the company implemented promotional offers and discounted sales on some of its frozen meat products, prepared dishes, and frozen rice and flour products to enhance product competitiveness and market share, which affected the company's profitability.

During the reporting period, live pig prices showed a trend of rising first and then falling, reaching the highest point of the year around mid-August. Overall, live pig prices increased throughout the year. Affected by these price fluctuations and consumer demand, the company's annual slaughter volume declined, while slaughter revenue slightly increased, impacting slaughter gross profit and reducing profitability.

During the reporting period, some of the company's ongoing projects, such as the 100,000 tons/year meat processing project and the Xianyang DELISI project, were gradually capitalized, leading to an increase in the company's depreciation and amortization costs, which affected the current profit and loss
