# Aokang International appoints director Wang Chen to act as chairman and president

According to the announcement from Aokang International (603001.SH), the company will hold the 14th meeting of the 8th Board of Directors on January 21, 2025, where it will review and approve the proposal regarding the appointment of a director to act as the Chairman and President.

In light of Wang Zhentao resigning from the position of Chairman and Wang Jinquan resigning from the positions of Director and President, the election of a new Chairman and the appointment of a new President still require the corresponding procedures. To ensure the smooth execution of the company's operational decisions and the normal functioning of the Board of Directors, all directors of the company jointly nominated Director Wang Chen to act as the Chairman and President to carry out the relevant work, as well as to fulfill the responsibilities of the members of the relevant committees of the Board of Directors. The term of the acting responsibilities will commence from the date of approval by the 14th meeting of the 8th Board of Directors until the new Chairman is elected and the new President's appointment takes effect
